About Me
Shula Robinson, CMH

here are moments in life that don’t just change you.
They dismantle you.
Mine began on Thanksgiving.
While the world gathered around tables filled with warmth, laughter, and tradition, I was saying goodbye to my sister. In the middle of a season meant for gratitude, I experienced one of the deepest losses imaginable. And before I could even process that grief, life kept unraveling.
In the same month that I laid my sister to rest, I was laid off from work. Soon after, I lost my home.
Everything I once identified with — my stability, my direction, my sense of safety, even parts of my identity — disappeared almost overnight.
By every logical standard, I should have crumbled.
But somewhere inside the devastation, something unexpected happened.
I awakened.
Not all rebirths are gentle. Some are born through grief, survival, surrender, and the painful decision to keep going when life gives you every reason not to. I realized that sometimes life strips everything away, not to destroy us, but to reveal who we truly are underneath the titles, routines, expectations, and fear.
What felt like unbearable endings became the beginning of my transformation.
I stopped asking, “Why is this happening to me?”
And started asking, “Who am I becoming through this?”
That question changed everything.
Through my own healing journey, I discovered hypnotherapy — not as a trend, but as a lifeline. A powerful doorway into the subconscious mind where healing, release, clarity, confidence, peace, and transformation truly begin. I experienced firsthand how the mind can either imprison us in pain or guide us into freedom.
And that freedom became my purpose.
Today, as the founder of Divinely Guided Hypnosis, I help others reconnect with themselves after life has shaken them. Whether you are carrying grief, anxiety, trauma, fear, self-doubt, emotional exhaustion, or simply the feeling that you’ve lost yourself somewhere along the way — I want you to know this:
You are not broken.
You are becoming.
My journey is not built from perfection. It is built from survival, resilience, faith, and the decision to transform pain into purpose. Every session I offer is rooted in genuine compassion because I understand what it feels like to sit in darkness searching for even the smallest glimpse of light.
Hypnotherapy did not just become my profession.
It became the greatest gain to ever emerge from my greatest losses.
And if you are here reading this today, maybe your new beginning is waiting too.
Welcome to Divinely Guided Hypnosis — where healing is not about becoming someone else but finally coming home to yourself.
